SOEKS Defender Geiger Counter / Radiation Dosimeter is an upgraded version of the SOEKS 01M Radiation Detector. It is the mid level model in our catalog of radiation detectors. The Defender uses the latest Geiger-Muller Counter sensor technology and improves upon the 01M model with new features. This geiger counter has been crafted to measure cumulative radiation dose and appraise the degree of radioactivity contamination in food items, construction materials and others.

SOEKS Defender Geiger Counter / Radiation Dosimeter estimates the radiation level on the basis of the magnitude of ionizing radiation (gamma and beta-particles flux) while also taking X-rays into factor. It has not one, but two display screens. The measurement and reporting is in real time. An audio alarm goes off when certain levels are reached.

Soeks Defender Geiger Counter / Radiation Dosimeter displays a message that best describes the degree of background radiation in an object.

The message is either of the following:
– Normal Radiation Background
– High Radiation Background
– Dangerous Radiation Background

What’s in the box?
Soeks Defender Geiger Counter / Radiation Dosimeter comes with rechargeable batteries. Regular, non-rechargeable batteries can be used as well. The device comes with a USB charging cable*. It is suitable for continuous monitoring with included A/C adapter. A US charging adapter is in the box along with an english manual with specific instructions on how to use the product.
