In a nutshell, the SCENAR is a portable medical device, designed for physiotherapy. It affects the body by electrical impulses of a special form. Built-in electrode SCENAR is used for treatment of skin and with the help of remote electrodes an impact on accessible mucous membrane is made. In the simplest case, Scenar works on the projection of a complaint (ie, where there is an affected organ), or processed in a special reflex zones. According to treatment methods classification SCENAR-therapy is refered to as reflexology. This means that the unit itself has no direct therapeutic effect, but by influencing the body through the nervous system it causes a sympathetic reflex reaction, which is curative. This principle of exposure is the most natural for the body, it is used by people from ancient times to treat and prevent diseases. For example reflexology include different types of manual treatment (massage, acupressure), acupuncture, methods with the use of temperature effects (compression, heating) etc.
It is a line of professional devices with a great medical potential, reliability in operation, and a capability to display a large amount of information. The devices are designed for professional application by general practitioners in outpatient departments, ambulance, as well as at home
