This is the newest model from the Radex brand. Previous models RD1503 and RD1706 became quick favorites due to their proven accuracy, friendly simplicity and how affordable they are compared to almost every other Geiger counter on the market.
Radex models have been tested by the Japanese Consumer Protection Agency and were rated on par in accuracy with professional scientific measuring stations that cost over 2000 dollars!
And now: RD1212
The latest model - the best in the series.
SIMPLE TO USE - It's just one button! Flip it on and let it measure. No calibration required.
ACCURATE - Radex knows their Geiger-Muller counters. Units have been tested in Japan and compared favorably to competition.
